When the Halloween event does happen in Animal Crossing New Horizons, players will be visited by Jack.
If you give Jack lollipops and candy, you'll be rewarded with spooky in-game rewards. However, you must also keep candy for your neighbours otherwise you might get pranked.
In the build-up to the Halloween event, the Fall update for Animal Crossing New Horizons will allow players to buy candy but only once per day.
You will also be able to buy and grow pumpkins, and there will be some befitting costumes to collect and don.
What time does the Fall update come out for Animal Crossing New Horizons?
The Fall update for Animal Crossing New Horizons will come out at the release time of 18:00 PDT on September 29th.
In addition, the Fall update for Animal Crossing New Horizons will also come out at the release time of 21:00 EDT on the same day, meanwhile 02:00 BST on September 30th.
Although Nintendo's trailer doesn't confirm the above hours, the Japanese version of the Nintendo website specifically lists for the version 1.5.0 patch for 10:00 JST on the 30th.
The same applied to Summer for Animal Crossing New Horizons, so we strongly imagine that the above release times are correct for the Fall update.

One of those was the Nintendo UK Twitter which posted: 'Tune in on February 20th at 2pm UK time for a roughly 25-minute livestreamed #AnimalCrossing: New Horizons Direct, featuring an in-depth look at Nook Inc.'s Deserted Island Getaway Package! #ACNH'.
The Animal Crossing Direct is coming ahead of the release of New Horizons on the Switch on March 20.
And for those that had been hoping for a full-fat Nintendo Direct instead of an Animal Crossing one there is some good news.
Leaker Zippo had previously said that Nintendo were planning two Nintendo Direct broadcasts for February.
And they had also indicated that there were signs of an Animal Crossing Direct on February 20 before this was officially announced.
Seeing as Zippo called the Animal Crossing Direct, there is a chance there could also be a second Direct presentation in February.
If that's the case then maybe there will be a full-fat Nintendo Direct next week.
This would mark the first proper Nintendo Direct since September.
